Rossignol Taipan ??? - Snowboarding Forum

I read a great review on the Rossignol Taipan at the TheGoodRide.Com
the review

First, I dig those guys. Second, I think this would be a great board (the 158cm Mid Wide) for a great price ($349) given my particulars:

Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 177 lbs
Shoe Size: 11.5 (2012 Burton Ruler)
Angles: 15, -15 duck style
Riding Style: All Mountain for now, add some park in the near future
Ability level: Beginner (but learning at an accelerated pace I think / I've surfed and skated my whole life)
Riding now: Ride Fleetwood 254 Wide (someone gave it to me to get me going)
Riding at: Southern California (Big Bear, Mountain High, maybe Mammoth soon)
Days per year planned: 20 or more I think

Feedback? Anyone disagree? If so, can you make an alternative recommendation? Thanks in advance dudes.

69 (aw yeah) views so far but no replies...I was worried people might not have had much experience with this board since Rossignol is not exactly a cool brand like GNU/Never Summer/etc.
