Another NS Proto CT Thread..... - Snowboarding Forum

Ok. So after reading the numerous posts on the CT i still am left wondering what to do. I had my first ride on the CT last week on extremely iced out runs that would make an ice skating rink proud. Anyway, i dont know if it was the conditions or my riding style but found the board a little "catchy," "hooky" whatever you want to call it. I never had this problem with any other board i have ridden (rossi retox amptek, burton custom, rossi one mag....).

Some have said this is because the edge has no bevel, but neither did my rossi boards. So should i just slightly detune, or should i bevel the edges, which again i never had to do before. Or both? Thoughts.....

I'd just do some light detuning of the tip and tail.

yep, just detune a bit and you should be fine.

Thats what i figured. I might even let the ice coast mountains detune my board for me. Haha. Shouldnt take to long with how bad the conditions are in PA.
