Hey there,
I've got the chance to get my hands on a 142 nug for a killer deal. I'm 180 lbs at 5'11 with 11.5 boots. According to the size chart I'm slightly above the weight limit for the 142. Toe drag should be ok but I'd like to know what you guys think. Sell the 142 before it has use-marks and buy a 146 or keep the 142? Out of convenience I'd like to keep mine but I can't tell if it's just too short. What do you think? Cheers! |

Too bad
![]() Thanks for the replies. The shop guy, who weighs 20 lbs more than me, said the 146 was perfect for him when he rode it and I'd be more than fine on the 142. Especially since I'd just use it for playing around on the slopes. |

Wait.. what size board did you ride before?
I'm pretty certain you can down size a full 10cm with the nugs.. My friend Johnny works binding product testing for Burton and he was riding the 146 I'd say he is 5'10.. yeah so maybe a 146 would be better...

My other board is a NS proto ctx 155. I like shorter boards but I'm just not sure if the 142 will be stable enough and able to handle my 180 lbs.
I should say though I'd use it 90% buttering and playing around on the short slopes of my home mountain. So no big mountain stuff. |
