help with stance

Okay so I wondering when I do my stance for the 159 board I am only 5'7" so my stance should be like 50cm to 63cm stance does that shound right to you guys and I haven't got my board in yet but haha it is about eye height will that be ok or will it be hard to turn and carve

FYI its not about the height, its more about the weight. Your 159 board can reach your eye level but if youre 5'7 @ 140 then it might be too long for you. but if you're 160 then it will be fine. The heavier you are the longer board you want to get so that your body weight can flex it how it was intended to flex.

im 6'0 and my stance is usually at 21 inches, basically you want to set your stance shoulder width apart. There is no true formula to this. Basically try out the shoulder width and if its too wide, you will feel some strain in your ankles and calves, if its too narrow, then you will lose that control of the board and its torsional flex. Tweak it from there until you find that sweet spot.

Plus next time give a little more info about yourself and what kind of board you are trying to set up

Sorry I forgot I am setting up a 2011 gnu 159 wide btx carbon credit with a set of 2012 burton freestyle bindings and I am 210 lbs
