Default braking in board ?

okay so i just ordered my gnu 159 wide it will be in on christmass now do i have to do anything to the board before i go snowboarding

Ten hand flexes, then mount your bindings and then carpet board for an hour alternating between nose and tail presses. Then put it in the corner and give it creepy looks from across the room.

After that you are ready to go

I've been carpet boarding for the last 2 months now! I can't help myself...i see the board in the corner of the room screaming my name...so naturally I strap in and watch TV with it hehe... this shouldn't put any ware on the board should it?

Haha but I seriously wonted to know if I had to do anything like wax or something I have never had a snowboard and I am going carpet boarding when I get my board and I have already been giveing my new bindings and boots a creepy stair from across the room

You can wax it if you want but GNU's factory wax is usually fine for the first couple of days. Just strap in and ride.

And don't forget to lick all along the edges!

try everything until if fits like a glove, wax, scrape and wait for powder.
