How do I fix this chip in my board??

Hey all, is this a serious chip? Do I even need to fix it? If so, how?

Sorry the picture is a little blury but I cant tell if im looking at wood or what.

Won't effect how the board rides, if your worried through some epoxy on it(to seal it up) and call it a day my entire board dis covered with that kind of shit and it's less than a year old.
