Unhappy questions about my board shop?

So I had an encounter with a rock and had to take my board in... now I have some questions..

I think it was pretty superficial... the rock scraped some of the laminate off so I had a little "curl" at the end of the gash. The board shop said they should fill it.

My board is white... and where they filled it is now a big brown spot. Is that normal? They can't fill it with white stuff?

The other thing is.. that when I got it back, there was patches of wax on it in a couple of places. I should've said something... but I'm really introverted so I have a hard time with that and feel intimidated by all these "pros" because I know so little... one thing I do know is that my board wasn't scraped properly. I usually wax my board myself because they charge 20$ for a hand wax btu I figured since it was there might as well have them do it for me. Sorry.. but for 20$ I expect all the wax scraped off.

What do you guys think? I really need to have my edges sharpened but that wax job worries me that they'll do a half-assed job. Should I just figure out how to do it myself?

And most importantly... is that big brown spot in the middle of my all white base acceptable?

Sounds like they used clear ptex and let it burn far too long and get carbon in it.
