Dakine Wax??( Rub on wax)

Im due for a wax job. I still have my factory wax job on my board and i can tell its wearing down. So i was think of using the Dakine Rub on Wax's since ill probably only get out on the mountain 1 or 2 more times. Our season is ending fast here in Michigan. I usually pay a company to wax my board so i dont see the point in paying them to wax it if im only going to get out on the mountain one more time. So is the Dakine Octane wax and the Dakine Afterburner wax any good?

How many times have you gone on your board? That...and you should look into waxing your own board, it'll save on the $$ later on. I mean, if you have the wax...you might as well use it, for best results you could just use that as iron on wax...

Well i dont have an iron anymore so i have to go buy one. im going to get one next season. i dont have the money to buy all my supplies again. So i figured id just use the rub on wax for now. ive only used my new board 2 times but the factory wax is So Slow and shitty.

walmart has irons for 10 bucks! i dont know if you purchased it already but the afterburner wax sucks and it smells really bad. It doesnt last very long either, but if thats all you have, its better than nothing

I was going to say...$7 for the iron at walmart (after the first day a part of it started cracking, but works fine) and $1.50 for a piece of plexiglass that you can cut into 3 to have 3 scrapers...that'd be about all you'd need.

They still work. And if you're really concerned about it, aluminum foil on the bottom of the iron works...
