trouble with burton cartel bindings

I recently got a Never Summer Heritage along with some burton cartel bindings. i was about to mount the bindings onto the board when i couldn't get the screw to screw into the holes on the board. there's this very thin blue strip on the screw and i dunno if that should be there or not but the screws won't go in and the directions don't mention it. any advice?

take it to a shop and see if they can do it. if they cant, then the screws are defective and the shop will have screws that will work. if not, call burton and tell them to s uck afuck

The Blue strip is suppose to be there. Dont worry. Take it to a shop like someone else said. Make sure they surly wont go in or else the people are going to give you the wtf look

I did the same thing with my cartels on my gnu altered genetics board. I didn't want to strip it out so I was hesitant to force the screws in. I did anyway and it worked out fine. I think the lock tight just makes it tougher to screw in.

easy solution: sell cartels on ebay to a soccer mom trying to by "cool gear" for her son for christmas. also, let her know your gonna vote mccain and you hate womens rights. that will get her hot and shell give you more money. take your newly made money and buy a pair of bindings that arent shipped with defective parts most of the time.
