Flow Merc VS Flow Infinite

First thank you to all who responded to my first post about advice on buying my first snowboard. After doing hours and hours of research I am back again with another question. I have sort of zeroed in on a Flow Merc but then today I ran across a Flow Infinite that looked pretty good. Both of the models are 2011 and the price for each is a wash.

On first look the Infinite appears to be the better board. There is more technology in the board and I believe I could grow into that board much better than the Merc. However the Merc appears to be a much easier board for a beginner like me and much more forgiving. The Merc has reverse camber where the Infinite has pop camber. While I'm not sure I completely understand the difference in the ride it will give me, I think the Merc would be easier to ride as a novice. But the Infinite would give a better ride in the long run as I progress.

My question is which board do you think would be a better buy for a complete beginner, the Flow Merc or the Flow Infinite?

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year.
