first used board

Weight 140 ish
Height 5 9 - 5 10
Boot size 9
Riding style: mostly groomers
age: almost 15
budget don't really have a budget, reasonable price for a beginner with good value
Your location of riding Ontario

So I'm a beginner (working on linking turns smoothly down blues) and was considering buying a used board. From my research, they tend to have better better value while not really affecting performance if in good condition. I'm open to all options, including new boards but I live in Canada if that matters. Right now,I'm looking at 2 options.
Burton air 156 with Burton cartels, both 2007 100$
Burton custom 156 with Burton missions, both 2011 450$
So my questions are, are either of these boards a good value? Or are there any other options. Thanks (:

eithr of those would be solid options, go with the $100 one. you cant really be to picky when buying used, just go with what you find.

Those boards are both really nice though

Dude, suckin at somethin' is just the first step to bein' sorta good at somethin'

Red face

Thanks for your advice, I was just wondering if the Burton air would be able to last a while, or is it too old, and if the newer custom is worth the extra 350

without a doubt it would last a while, i still have a burton clash from 2003 that i ride on low snow level days. if you don't beat on them; boards will last a long ass time. probly not worth it for the custom.
