Default Machete: 158 vs 160

Hi guys, just recently i asked a question here if there was any reason not to go for the most advanced board.
Thanks to some wonderful people here i have opted out for the Ride Machete 160.
Im now in some urgent need to get some answers regarding the size...
I wear size 9 boots, i weigh 165 lbs and im 5'9" tall. According to ride i can get the 155 158 160 and 162 boards.
Im a perfect fit for the 162 (exactly at the middle of the weight scale) so i have decided to go for the 160 since i want to benefit from the additional flex.
I bought the board but the shop said it wont ship it until late tomorrow so i have one more day to make sure that i made the right choice
After doing a quick search here i came with another couple of identical topics and i found out that heavier guys here have bought the shorter 158 board.

Should i go for the 158 or 160? I am sorry for all the questions, but boards are expensive here in Europe. The Machete alone costs around 550 USD and i want to make sure i will get correct board.

Im effectively looking for the board that i dont need to fight to make turns and will have the most control.

What kind of riding do you do? Park, groomers, any pow?

i think you should get the 158, im the same size as you and ride a 157. I pretty much do everything except jib with it; off piste, tree runs, jumps, and just going really really fast on groomers.

I would say 155 if you are looking for tricks a bit later. Your 45 pounds lighter than me and I ride a 161 atm.

I would get the 158, even the 155 if you plan to get into park, I'm 190 and rode a 156 all over the mountain and in the park.

5'9" and 169lbs, I'd get the 155. Especially if you want it to feel a little "softer" for you. The 160 is way to big for you IMO, unless of course it's your pow/backcountry deck, then it would be fine.

Since there are no parks, im probably going for the 158.
I felt 160 was too big for me and based on your responses, 155 is great for a park but does not apply for me.
I hope 158 will be fine for small downhill jumps.
I will have the board by Friday i hope. The perfect timing for a weekend snow trip.
Will let you guys know how i feel about the board once i return back.
