Free board, but which one?

I won a local contest and have a choice of pretty much any board at our local shop. I narrowed it down to 3 choices since they fit my riding style the best and they are pretty much the only high end boards they have in my size.

The three are banana magic, dark series, and trs c2 btx all 2012 models.

I really only get about 10-15 days a season, I mostly just free ride on groomers and try to go as fast as I can, unless I get lucky and there is powder.

Any suggestions on which board I should get out of the three? They all seem really similar, the dark series seems the most interesting but it also seems like the riskiest out of the three as well.

Don't know what your skill level is, but i think the dark series is the stiffest. That would make it the best option for free riding of the 3 but also will be a harder to ride unless you're an aggressive rider. The TRS is a great board but the softest and most freestyle oriented so maybe not the best match. As they all seem to be Lib boards, I will recommend the Travis Rice since i ride it and think is a phenomenal all mountain ride.

Congrats on the contest, those are all awesome, top of the line choices.

I have a dark series and it's a great board, it definitely needs to be ridden aggressively though. The Banana Magic would be the one to go with if you're looking for more of a relaxed free ride board.

Get the Dark series for what you ride. Banana magic if you will hit park.

Read Leo's review of the Magic, doesn't seem like a park board

I demoed all the lib boards last year for 2012 and the magic was my favorite board but I ended up going with my second choice
The Jamie Lynn Phoenix just on price as the magic was about 150$ more. I pretty much freeride 90% of the time only hit the park in the spring
I think that would be your best bet it rides really simialar I found to the gnu riders choice just a bit stiffer and you lay down a mean heel side turn.

I am leaning towards the magic, they seem to have both a 154 and 157 what size do you think would fit me best?

I am 5' 10 163lbs

banana magic is not a park board, more of a freeride do it all anywhere board.. thats what I'd get if you just ride groomers.

154 would be more freestyle oriented and the 157 more freeride
