Forum Destroyer 09 as first board.
Hi, a guy from my town is selling his Forum Destroyer 2009. It's a freestyle board my size. But is it good to buy as my first board to learn on it and I have intentions to ride more freeride than freestyle of course at beginning pretty easy tracks not much of a freeride. I have ridden ski so I think I would learn pretty fast if I buy this board how long it will be comfortable to me what do you think?
75 Views and no reply? Don't you have just a little advice for me?
Here is some description of the board:
Boston – Forum has brought back the Destroyer for 2009 to show that it knows what riders want in a FreeStyle snowboard. This snowboard is considered by some as their benchmark for progression FreeStyle riding. The board is a true twin tip making it a FreeStylers dream for hitting tricks no matter the condition or terrain.

You're a beginner, it's a snowboard, if the price is right buy it and ride. Until you start carving, hitting jumps, rails, buttering, etc, it doesn't matter much what board you have. The description doesn't say if it's rocker, camber, or hybrid...a rocker, hybrid or TBT might make learning a bit easier but you might learn some bad habits. Starting on a cambered board you'll catch more edges at first, but that should show you what not to do real quick.
