Lib Tech TRS C2 BTX

Just wanted to get some personal opinions on what boards are similar to the Lib Tech TRS C2 BTX. I'm an intermediate rider who's looking to start transitioning from freeriding to freestyle. Also have looked at the Lib Tech Mark Landvik Phoenix series. I'm 6'2" 170 lbs. and wear a size 11 shoe/boot. Looking at a 157 cm board. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Although I think this board is amazing and can do pretty much anything, I don't think it would be my first pick for park/freestyle. I would choose a straight BTX for park over the C2BTX. I would look at something more like the GNU Park Pickle. Same tech and you could get it a lot cheaper. I love magnetraction. It works, period.

The thing is...I don't go riding enough to have one board for freeriding and another for freestyle. I'm looking for a board that I can do it all with. I mainly freeride, but want to start transitioning into freestyle riding, a.k.a jibbing, small jumps & MAYBE rails.

I loved my trs c2, it was a great all around board. I had to sell mine because of injury and was strapped for cash, but it was one of my biggest regrets.

There is a reason why so many pros ride this board, and why it wins a good wood award pretty much every year.

I have ridden both. They are both great boards, although in my opinion the lando was more freeride oriented than the TRS. I liked the lando for bombing down the hill, but I wasn't happy that the mtx was so mellow on it. The other lib techs I tried including the TRS felt much better on the sketchier stuff because of the more pronounced MTX.

The TRS is pretty much libs do everything board, its not as soft as the banana, but not as stiff as the t.rice.

Also check out the GNU Riders Choice. Very similar board to the TRS.

Guys, just pulled the trigger on a brand new, never used 157cm 2011 TRS C2BTX for $384 w/ free shipping on this outlet website! It was a too good to be true deal and was tired of feeling like I was doing too much research and being TOO picky. Thanks for all of the suggestions, I really appreciate it and I'm excited because it FEELS like the right buy.

Does 157 seem like a good size for me considering im 6'2" and 170lbs and looking to start transitioning into more freestyle riding but still bombing it down the mountain?

Yeah, sounds about right.
