Never Summer SL or Attack Banana

Hi everyone,

I am an intermediate rider who enjoys freeriding down groomers and in pow. I donít ride park at all but I want to start hitting jumps off natural terrain and park-like features on and off-piste and I had been looking for a new board that will suit this style of riding.

Iíve got my hands on the Attack Banana and am really stoked but am having second thoughts as to whether I should get a directional twin such as the SL given the type of riding I want to do.

Would I be way better-off with the SL or am I just splitting hairs over two boards that will get the job done equally well in which case I should save myself the effort and stick with the Attack Banana?

Any views from anyone out there would be really appreciated!

Can't speak from personal experience but according to their stats, they're both well rounded all mountain boards. Both rocker in the mid, same flex, both have an icy condition side tech. Probably splitting hairs and comes down to the paint job you prefer.

If I had to go based on what people say online, I've heard SL is freeride biased, and very stable. The equivalent of SL in the Lib Tech line would probably be Banana Magic.

I have the SL and it's a very nice board.

While the SL does well in hard packed / ice, the GNU has MTX which I think is a little better. Some people argue it's too catchy but i like it.
Either way, it sounds like you demoed the Attack banana and liked it, so I'd just get that if I were you.
