2011 highlife vs 2012

i have a 2011 highlife 163 wide and love the board but shes getting beat up and im planning on replacing it at the end of the season i plan on going with the highlife because it fits my size 260 6'1 the best and i enjoy bombing hills but anyway i saw the new 2012 is hybrid and was wondering how much different the ride is my only complaint is how the 2011 gets lose sometimes at high speeds by the way i use drake 50 bindings

Its more than just hybridrize. The 2012's got a lot more carbon. The Berzerker pretty much replaced the 2011 Highlife. Really the only resemblance between the 2011 and '12 is the general shape and name. It's basically more aggressive and snappy in like every way.

There's honestly very little rocker in it. Its flat between the feet, camber after, then just enough rocker to ease the tips into the camber.

If you feel like your Highlife now is just a little too loose at highspeeds but like the general feel the Hybridrize of the Berzerker will do the job. If you want even more response and snap get the new highlife.
