Hey guys!
So, im headin to my second snowboarding trip in ischgl. And im looking for which gear (board, bindings) to rent, and the thing is that in most rental shops there are 2 categories: economy & premium. In skiset.co.uk the case is between: Burton cruzer rocker (economy) to SALOMON Drift Rocker or RIDE Machete (premium). Is there a point for a second timer to rent the more expensive gear? or i wouldn't notice the difference? thanks! |

Second timer, meaning second day? If so, I would say that you wouldn't notice the difference between the two boards.
However, the one thing you may notice the difference with is the quality of the boots. If the cheap rental boots are crappy and worn out but the more expensive boots are nicer and in better shape, that is something you would definitely notice. If they use the same boots but just give you a nicer board, I don't think it matters much. |
