After seeing the 2013 gear thats coming out, I didnt love the new graphics on the evo/revolver lineup, so I bought a 2012 Revolver, and I LOVE IT!!!

the question is, do most of yalls local shops only have the black base in the 12 revolver like my local shops?? How does NS decide what retailers get what bases?? Granted I live in the southeast, but Ambush is a pretty major board company and all they had was black bases, and every single one ive seen online is the black base, yet I found my green one (so stoked i found the green) at a lil shop in North Carolina that just this year started carrying Never Summer

Anyway, just curious on that whole scenario..... now a couple pics of my new beautiful lady

Neversummer seems to be weird about their bases. In that they don't really have any kind of set colors. My guess is that your local place got a package of when they happened to be making black bases for the day or week.

true, then what would be the reason that ALL the ones online are also black base? think everyone wanted the green so it sold quicker, or that they didnt make many green ones??

I think it's neat that they have a sort of Easter Egg on their production.

yea, its def cool that they have diff bases, and sometimes diff top sheets, like last years lineup...it does suck tho when you want a diff one then what you can find... basically them having both bases, and the green one being so hard to find, is what MADE me pull the trigger on this board the other day, even though I dont need a new board right now... I now have two revolvers, lol, but love them both...might not ever get rid of my 2011 as i REALLY love the topsheet..some hate it, but i was in love when i saw it...both of them really I love, and have zero interest in the 2013 topsheet...although the blue/yellow combo on the 2013 base is pretty sweet..

From what I heard, they flip the colors of the base to use all the materials. The Proto came in Black base and white eagle and then an exact swap of the colors so my guess is they do that with all their boards not to waste anything.

yes, i was aware they used all the base materials as to not waste, just wasnt sure if there was any rhyme or reason as to what shops got which ones and why i couldnt find but 1 with the green base
