Need help choosing between these two, they are exactly the same price at $200 New. I'm a quick learning newbie that is 5'10" 185lbs, size 10 boot. I want a board that is a good all-arounder that I can progress with.

What do you guys think?

Thanks
David

i have a Solomon prospect that is about 4 years old. Im not very familiar with the newer models but as a beginner i loved it. But as i got my skills up i hated it. I learned that the Prospect was very heavy compared to other boards and it had No edge at all. It at was also very stiff which was perfect for free riding and it is fast as hell when you wax it right. but it was a little too stiff for me. its a good board but its really want do you want out of it. I mean it has barely no edge so thats good for a beginner so you dont catch any edges but as you get your skills up i am positive you will not like the board any more. But again I have a 4 year old one , and i do not know how the New models are Built etc. I know thats not much help. I now have a Burton Custom and its a great board. I like it. To tell you the truth. A custom would probably suit you pretty good if you know how to link your turns and stop. Basically if you know your basics. its a board you will be able to work with for many years. But if you have never ridden before then you may catch some edges.
