So this is my first year boarding and it's been addicting, even after numerous falls and a nice hyper-extension in my left fore arm.
Anyways, since the prices are rediculous right now and WM is an addiction in itself, I finally put togther a newb's first setup. Board: '08 Forum Recon (158) Boots: '08 DC Balance Bindings: Ride EX Bag: DC Decoy Helmet: Giro Bad Lieutenant I ride east coast snow (Wintergreen mostly). Mostly just learning how to control my board, ride switch, heel & toe, and carve. Once I am comfortable I'll start hitting up bigger trails and plan on doing some terrain. I'm 6' and ~200lbs |

Looks like a nice setup! I've never tried the Recon however had heard good things about it. The Ride EX bindings are good bindings (as are most Ride bindings). The DC Balance boots are awesome. That's what I'm using this year and love them. They're very light, comfortable, and seem to fit my feet just perfectly.
Enjoy your setup! |
