Default Powder Board Suggestions

I'm looking for a powder board, 162-165 in length, wide width. Any suggestions for what companies to look at?

It really depends if you want a mainstream style powder board or one that is really going to work.
For the mainstream style which can be called a powder board simply for having moderate taper there are a heap of options, pretty much every company has one. Just go to any board shop website and enter powder board into the search function.
If you want a powder board that is really going to work well you have to forget everything you think you know about boards and try something different, the rewards will pay off for a directional freerider who wants to get neck deep.

Salty peaks have a decent range of serious powder boards, some are pretty old but really have some features you just cant find in many boards these days. My fav is the neversummer/salty peaks collab 178.
Swallowtail Snowboards | SaltyPeaks.com

These things look good too but lack of swallowtail turns me off. Love the nose shape though.
Dupraz Snowboards - 2011 2012 snowboards D1 range

If you want to talk serious powder boards let me know, I could go on for days.

That 2013 signal epic looks great, I wonder what sizes it will come in?
The 2013 burton cheetah looks awesome too but only a 159?? Great if you weigh 140lb.

Default Burton Barracuda!!!

I would take a look at the Burton Barracuda, its new to the line up this year and can handle everything the resort can throw at you. Ice, Hard Packed, and of course huge float in POW with the S-Rocker. You should check it out!

Depends where you live too. Some places have good regional board makers that cater to location. For example Prior in Whistler... sure you could get one shipped if you got serious about it. Depends what your budget and thoughts about ride style are.

Oh that Salty Peaks Neversummer swallow tail looks absolutely sick. It's the Summit which is already a fantastic poo stick with a swallow tail. If you want a powder gun, that is the board right there.

Yeah I nearly fell off my chair when I discovered that board. I tried to buy it buy they wouldn't send it to Australia even though its a 1 off board żou cant buy anywhere else. I could have done it through a shipping forwarder but have decided to start building my own powder boards instead.
