TRice 153 and size 8 work?

Looking to get a T Rice in a 153, checking to see people's experience who are a size 8 with the board. I currently ride a NS SL, while it's a great board, I'm now looking for something a little more aggressive(something more like my old timeless).

My stats.

5'6"
160 lbs
size 8

153 is plenty good. The TRice has a good sized waist so you'll have plenty to grow.

I ride the 157 with a size 7.5 boot. You'll be fine with the 153.

EDIT: 15/-15 angles, 5'7", 155 lbs, if that's relevant to you.
