New Board - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys im looking to get a new board before this season ends.
I am about 6 foot 1 170lbs size 11 foot
The 3 boards im lookin at are
Ride Kink 153
Capita Horrorscope FK 153
Capita Stairmaster 156
I am going to be in the park alot but also i need to choose the board that will be able to be stable at high speeds when i hit the blacks.

Hey Broooo. 153 is way small even for a jib board. The size for the Stairmaster is about what you should be looking for at your size(158 is perfect). The Ride Kink is a nice park board that's slightly stiffer than most park boards so that be alright. Horrorscope is Capita's noodle board so I would stay away from that. Personally I don't like normal camber being a jibber so I can't say anything on the Stairmaster. Or you could look into the Arbor Westmark. Great park board that's great in pow and very stable. Have you ever looked into the Indoor Survival(FK)? Capita's baseline all mountain freestyle board. Then for your size you could probaably find an Ultrafear FK which is Capita's late release Limited Edition "all mountain extreme freestyle" board. (I would get one but they don't have 151's) The Ultrafear FK's got some solid specs (DS SELECT Core • Die Cut Sidewalls with 1.5mm Dampening System • Custom Weave – E Class Fiberglass Configuration • Wax Infused Rotation Sintered Speed Base • Die-Cut / Screened Combo Base Graphics • 360 Degree Steel Edges • 4x2 Inserts • Aluminum Logo Base Inlay) Awesome board in my opinion, Scott Stevens weapon of choice. My personal recommendation would be the Ultrafear in 157. Found one cheap forya > Capita 2012 Ultrafear FK 157 at Martini Northfield SNOW Boards Mens at Martini Northfield and added bonus look at these > Union Capita Ultrafear 2 LTD Bindings at Snowboard Connection but if you want to go with an orange Union Force thats a good choice too.
