after weeks of reading and posting on forums, going to shops, and looking at reviews I think I have settled on this board. I found a good number of reviews and not many bad things have been said. Have you demoed or own this board? What are your thoughts?

I own a Gboh and it's a great board. Fun to play around and charge all over the mountain. The edge hold is crazy good and the camber profile fits me very well. The asym sidecut is nice and noticeable though probably not necessary. But I like it. Does the Basic have the serrated edges? Because I think they are worth the upgrade to the gboh.

Biggest differences are a. price b. asym side cut c. serrated edges or as they call it "UG: ultimate grip" d. base: 6000Basic 9000GBoH so a bit more durable e. Basic has a directional flex so the tail is a bit stiffer If you want to save some dough and still have fun buy the Basic, otherwise buy the GBoH. Either way you'll have fun. And isn't that what we are all here for. |

Yeah. It might come down to which one is left when I go to buy. Both are are available in the size I am looking for at my local shop for 25% off. I could wait till it drops even more but I want to pick it up before my trip out west in a few weeks.
