ya i think its an extra $200 with prior. Donek is a pretty good deal and is a major consideration. There is a place in revy that is a close in price and would work for me. I am just checking out deals as they come along, im not in a big rush as i prob won't be going out this year.

on another note does anyone know the width at the bindings of the t.rice?

in all honesty you'd get alot more replies over at splitboard.com than here.

gotta be something like less than 20 people on this board who splitboard.

Considering that both T.Rice (split and solid) have the exact same specs, you should just ditch this thread and ask about regular t.rice. I'm sure someone's got one on here that they could measure for you.

Could also look in the "what's your setup" thread and PM an owner...

The 163 SL is a wide board. That is correct. As mentioned Venture also makes wide decks. Donek will build a split customer to order.

The 163 SL wide is a killer deck. I've got a little experience with it.

you got me curious so i had to check...

FWIW
my 2012 'SL' 158 Split(Heritage in SL skin) is 2-3mm (the width of a metal edge) wider than my 2012 Heritage 155 and up to 7mm wider than my 2010 SL 155

not sure what waist width the boards they have in stock but right now Tactics is doing 25% off on Venture splits, and there was a code from sb.com that gave you another 10%....

just sayin

awesome thx for the info guys.

i have an email out to venture to see if the zephyr and my feet will get along.

i will add the SL, i also found what i think is the same board but from a ski company? It includes skins.
buy Icelanitc Gemini Splitboard at www.bentgate.com - Free Shipping

I may have found the t.rice for $500, but im nervous its a scam so i have been emailing with the company.

@SimonB, ya i figured someone with a reg t.rice would chime in but that is a really good idea about asking a pm, i will do that.

The Icelantic Gemini is the Neversummer SL split, with Icelantic's topsheet/base. Bentgate is great for customer service and are completely legit.

So while I was searching around tonight for a board, I cam across this and thought of this thread. I don't know what type of riding you do, but if you're looking for a pow board that is a split as well, and don't want to ride switch, this seems to be a pretty good deal. Plus, it comes with bindings, skins and crampons. Anyway, here's a link -- Atomic Poacher Renu Splitboard - Men's - FREE SHIPPING at NextAdventure.net Keep in mind, I know nothing of this board, but Atomic is generally a solid brand.

the Atomic splitboard has its own interface - which sucks.
