Ride Highlife vs NS Raptor, vs NS Premier F1 vs Bataleon Enemy - Snowboarding Forum

I've narrowed it down to four boards. I'm an advanced rider and charge down every bit of terrain. I need a board that can handle carves down the fall line for chutes and can easily initiate wide carves across bowls. It also needs to be stable, responsive, and damp. A relatively low swing weight for jumps would be nice too, but I tend to steer towards natural features for my "park" when I'm not on my park specific board.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i have last years high life, its pretty bang on with what you are looking for but im sure they other ones are too.

if you are looking for something to play around on i would probably look else where, but if there is some new snow on the ground it is a lot of fun.

I'm essentially into charging as fast as I possibly can, laying down some wide carves, and catching air off of natural rollers. I leave the park for when I'm on my Airobic.

Based off of reviews, It seems as if the Highlife UL and the Raptor will best fit my style. Has anyone ever been on both of these boards? How do they compare?

The Raptor is right up your alley. That thing is made for nice long highspeed carves. Since you're obviously a fan of the TBT, which I love too, the Enemy is not a bad choice. However for quite a bit cheaper, you can get almost the same performance in the Bataleon Undisputed.

Thanks for the response. I'm really stuck between the raptor, highlife, and enemy/undisputed. I love doing tight, snappy carves, but I also love doing giant, across hill carves.

I really wish I could demo all of these boards side by side....

So right when I thought I was about to narrow it down, I ended up making the decision worse by looking at a few other boards...

NS Raptor
Ride Highlife
Lib Dark Series
Bataleon Undisputed

I've tried the dark series before and liked several things about it, but also disliked it's weight and the magnetraction.
