Question advice on new board

hi everyone,

i have been reading the discussions on the forum for a couple of days and found very useful and interesting information, thanks!

so here is my short story and question. I have been riding for almost 3 years now and have used a burton bullet 164W during this time. I am 6.6, 230pounds and wear a 12-13 size boot.
Decided to upgrade this year and went for the burton custom 169W (was looking for the 165W but it was out of stock).

question. is the 169 length appropriate for my size?
question 2. any advice on what to pay attention to, when i take the custom for a first spin this weekend?

thanks!

what's your riding style? if you're a pure freerider, the 69 might be ok though it seems like a hell of a lot of board at first glance.

in my opinion it is pretty long but you might just like it. hard to tell. since you already bought it, just ride it and see how it works out for you.

cheers
