Default Topsheet damage

is this damage cosmetic or should I do something about it?
attached are a close-up picture of the damage and then a larger picture to put it in perspective.
Don't worry, the board isn't as beat up as it looks apart from the damage along the side

put a thick layer of epoxy and file it smooth
