After talking with a friend today he said that Burton is working on a rocker/camber/rocker or camber/rocker/camber design for 2014. Since we mainly ride Neversummer, who have the rocker/camber design, how would an added rocker add or take away from the ride of the board?

Camber design
Burton is apparently working on a double rocker/camber, my friend had already seen the concept for it a week or so ago at the mountain. think of an additional banana in the C2 camber of Lib tech Last edited by neutralmlkhotel; 03-04-2012 at 06:38 PM. |

I get the concept of a rocker, rocker/camber but what does it add to the performance is what I'm trying to understand.

Neutral, I wouldn't have been able to predict the way the NS's vario-whatzit would behave in practice, I think adding an extra level of complexity can only be evaluated on the test slope. Speaking of which, if any snowboarding companies would like a volunteer to test their stuff, I've got some free time....
![]() Seriously though, I hope their testing is showing some actual benefit. I'd hate for it to be like adding yet another blade to their razor just so they can sell "new and improved".
