Hey guys,
I am 6'2" 185 with size 12.5 Kaiju boots. I am hesitating to buy or not the T Rice 157. Will I have toe or heels drag with it? Or Should I go for 161.5? regular, +15 / -15, stance 23-23.5 Thanks, Gabor Last edited by jugeen; 03-12-2012 at 03:41 PM. |

Tough to say. It will be close, so it probably depends on the actual footprint of your boots.
I have size 12 Vans Fargos on the 161.5 with no problems, but it definitely seems like it's pretty close. You could probably get away with it, but it may not be ideal. |

Same here, I have a 161.5 t rice and my boots are burton slx in size 12 (they have reduced footprint). I have barely any toe drag with angles around +15/-6..
So i guess you are gonna have too much overhang but you can get away with it as long as you don't carve too hard... |

Looking at the specs, I don't see a huge difference between the two, 2mm at the waist and 3 at the tail/nose
157 tail width 30.1 waist width 25.8 161.5 tail width 30.4 waist width 26 I had the same dilema, brought my size 12 boot to the store and decided to play it safe with a 161.5 fwiw, I weigh 165. |
