Should i buy this used board ? PLZ HELP

Hey guys so i just got into snowboarding and i am trying to pick up a board without having to spend too much money. Spending $300-$400 just for a board is too expensive for me now.

Anyway i found a deal on craigslist in my area for a 2003 Burton Custom Snowboard with K2 V9 bindings and the guy is selling it to me for $150. I will be using it mostly for cruising greens, blues, and eventually blacks. Also i am sure later on i will be looking to do some tricks nothing crazy.

Is this a good deal??? or should i just wait until July or something save up some more money and buy a new one.

I would like to stay away from spending too much money as i am a college student but at same time i am kinda scared of throwing away money.

Here is the link with pictures

Oh and i am 6'3 , 180 pounds with 11.5 size feet.

The board is not wide so i am also worried about that.

NOpe. board is 9 years old. You can find something better/newer on Geartrade.com for sure, or keep your eye on the forum for the buy/sell section.

Ok thanks guys.

He was giving it to me for $125

Reason i was interested is because i would get the board and the bindings.

If i buy new board and bindings that would cost me like $400-500 minimum.

I took your advice and told him ill save up a bit more and buy new one.

Yeah, I personally wouldn't go more than 2-3 years old.
