Does 1cm make a difference? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey everyone I'm new hear and just had a question on length.
I just bought my first board, the K2 Podium 156. Before that I've been riding 155 rentals. I was wondering if there would be a significant difference with that extra centimeter?

Here's my weight/height
height 5'6
weight 160

It is really board specific, but your stats, fit great with the board you bought. Which I have demoed and think is a killer board...you will really enjoy it....

Thanks guys..now all I need are boots and bindings that hopefully I can find this weekend. Gonna try and ride one more time this season even if I have to drive 4 hours to Vermont lol

You will more likely notice more of a difference from a stiffer board than the 1 cm.
