Burton royale vs. Rome Slash
So I'm pretty much set on these two boards, both of which i'd get in a 158. They both look like the board I want, something that can do everything. The royale looks more suited for that though but it's a mid wide. I have size 11.5 feet and will probably be 12 by the time I get to use the board next season as i'm still growing. Basically, which board do you guys think will be a better fit?

The wasit width on the Slash is 1cm bigger than the Burton Royale. Depending on how much you think you'll grow I'd go with the Slash. The Slash is rated for a higher weight (up to 200lbs) than the Royale (up to 180lbs) at the same length, so that is something to consider as well. The Slash is the mid-wide version of the Agent and everyone has raved about that board. Haven't heard anything about the Royale.

According to burtons site the waist width on the 158 royale is 254mm and the slahs for 158 is 262mm

Edit: Nevermind,I though you said 1mm bigger.

i really like the rome stash. anyone else ride this board? i'm curious how it handles on the mountain. i've got size 14 boots, so i want to make sure they'd fit too.
