Hi!

I have just been snowboarding a couple of times this week and really enjoyed it. Until now I have only been renting, but I want to buy snowboard, bindings and boots for the next season. I am 84kg(185lbs), 191cm(6.23ft) and normally use size 10.5(US) boots. I want a good allround setup.

I have tried to do some research, but I will appreciate som help. Is a rome Anthem a good board for a beginner, or is too stiff? What board size should I get? 162cm? Which bindings should I get? Is Rome 390 a good choice? Do you have some other alternatives, since it seems hard to find them in size L/XL on sale.

I'm probably going to buy the boots in the local store.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

185 pounds...I'd say 157-160ish for a board. I know Anthems a bit stiff, but if you really want it I'm sure you can grow to learn how to ride it well...I'd probably say something a little softer.What type of riding do you plan on doing?

And 390s are a good choice. I like Missions as well.

I think a freestyle/freeride setup will be right for me.
Do you have som some suggestions for softer boards? Rome agent? Atomic Hatchet?
(Manufacturer isn't important, as long as it is solid)
