a board is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. You won, cool beans. next deal?

You probably did not get scammed, but you overpaid - the DK goes for quite a bit less on ebay.

Is it a bad board or something..? Now you have me worried . On the good ride, it said it was excellent on groomers/pipe and good in everything else but powder.. Powder was rated average. I dont think i like powder anyways. Definitely like shredding on groomers and i want to experiment in the park when i learn how to ride switch.

The Good Ride guys did not even test it in powder! Take all reviews with grain (pack?) of salt - lots of subjectivity and influenced by personal preferences. Often there are also commercial motives/incentives (which are frequently not disclosed).

Anyway, I have not ridden the board but from what I have heard it is a decent deck. For park it might be a bit stiff and have a slightly large sidecut radius. Also, the rocker is very toned down, which should make it less playful and more camber-like. Maybe for those reasons (or maybe because the Rider's Choice is generally considered to be a superior board) the DK never really caught on in the market. As a result, there are many good deals available: Have seen them sell in the low $200s on ebay and earlier this week one of the Monster editions went for $170.

But all this does not matter, if you personally are happy with the board - the camber-like ride and other characteristic might work very well for you on the groomers, maybe not so much in the park. If you don't like it, you can always try to sell it here

Thank you hktrdr . Great response.

EDIT: Damn, knew i should of went for the board that was being bid on.. But i do admit i like my green underside better than the black underside one, even if it cost me a extra 75-100 ;(.

I hope it works well in the park .

Haha, cut him some slack - he got a slightly harsh welcome in the two threads he started.

And if he really does not like powder, then there is more for us to play in ;)
