What board to take overseas... - Snowboarding Forum

He guys Im from Australia and Im off to NZ for my first time in 4 weeks. My prob is that I have 2 boards, K2 Fastplant 154 and Burton Nug 146 and Im tryin to work out if I should take both to NZ or if weight of luggage is goin to b a prob which one of them should I take.... Cheers.

Take both, what is the baggage limit 23kg?

definitely take both. two boards should fit in one board bag, and it would be nice to have options when you get there.

Why don't you just take both? An extra board is no more than 10 pounds.

Assuming you're heading to qtown/wanaka, the snow is not bad. But we suffer from inconsistent conditions unlike the northern hemisphere.

The k2 fastplant will do you well in both Park and free ride. But you should have no problem bringing both, it's nice to have the options, especially if you suffer board damage and need a back up.
