Default Is this board good for me?

K2 girls snowboard for sale

First of all, is K2 good? I heard they're good, but then I heard it's made in China..?
I'm 5'4-5'5 around 105-120 pounds. My weight changes a lot. Is the snowboard too small? It says 144.8 cm.
Will it be good for beginner into intermediate, or will I have to buy a new one once I get better? Thanks for the help.

I think that's a pre-rocker year of the Luna which is K2 womens entry level board. If its in pretty good condition its a great place to start out and should fit you at 145. Don't know why its listed as a 144.8 as that's a bogus length.

If you can check it out and have any friends that know what they're doing with gear I would try to go look at it in person to make sure the base doesn't have any burn or core shots and the edges aren't shot to shit.

***NEW*** Women's K2 Snowboard - $100 (West End)
***NEW*** Women's K2 Snowboard

I was trying to think of someone I know too buy it, but I couldn't think of anyone.

But since your in Vancouver too, maybe grab this one.

If you grab it, hope you enjoy it.

Or how bout this deal.

There is a snowboard I'm tryin' to buy right now & don't have enough cash. It's a wicked deal & I know it's not going to last if I don't jump on it right away.

I have a 2011 Never Summer Lotus in pristine shape. I have it on Craigslist right now for $250. I'll give it to you for $100 bucks.
If you do want it though, ya gotta hurry. I only want to sell it because I want this other one real bad.
If the one I want gets sold, I don't really want to sell mine for $100, I'd rather keep it.

I haven't read & compared either of the K2 boards from this thread, but if you did. I betcha I know which one would get more votes.

It's win, win for both of us.
So hurry up & get back to me.

Hi Eve,

What is your foot size? Rider height is not a factor but foot size is a big one.

Thanks!

If your still lookin', I just noticed this post in the Whistler section.
Snowboard Roxy eminence 143 x2! 100$
Snowboard gear

I don't know exactly which one she has, but it should @ least have Magna-traction & hybrid camber similar to Never Summers R&C.
It gets stellar reviews.

This seems like a pretty good deal.
If they were my size, I'd probably get one.

BURTON SNOWBOARD, BINDINGS AND BOOTS
BURTON FEELGOOD snowboard (144 cm)
BURTON ESCAPADE bindings (size medium)
BURTON LODI boots (size 6)

2 years ago my girlfriend had a 159 & I used to ride it some times.
It is a wicked do everything board, I was agging people on that I was going to beat them in the Chinese Downhill, riding my girlfriends board.
It is one of the highest quality snowboards that Burton makes for chicks

One of these times you better buy one of these.
I wish someone would send me links to wicked deals, I'd have 50 boards buy now.

It's not mine, I don't even know who's it is.

Nor do I know Snowboardeve, she just happens to be in my area, & she was looking for a board.

So whenever I see one that I would buy if it were my size, I send her the link.

It's just too bad she hasn't been here in a while, cause most of the deals I've been posting up here are pretty good.

Unfortunately for her, the good deals don't last very long on Craigslist & she probably has missed em by now.

Luckily for her, I'm a fine upstanding young man & I'll keep doing it until she gets one.
