Please help me.
My knowledge of snowboards in much-what limited. I have been tying to find a good board but there are just too freaking many. ![]() I am about 5'7", 130 pounds. I am not a great rail+ramp guy, so I'm looking for more of an all-mtn board. Any advice on bindings/boots would be greatly appreciated. (I'm a noob to serious snowboard talk, so please don't get too pissed with me) Thanks!!! |

Okay, at your size I am assuming you don't have big feet (i.e. 12+) so you won't need a wide board. You may get some suggestions for boards that people on the forum like, but if I were you, I'd start by picking the type of board you want (sounds like you are leaning towards all mountain) then figure out your price range, and start checking out manufacturers websites for boards that match your criteria.
Start by checking out the websites for Rome, Ride, Burton, GNU, Lib Tech, Nitro, Atomic, Never Summer, and Arbor. Each company will most likely have a board or two that fits the bill. Start narrowing it down and come back to the forum and ask for specific feedback on the boards you like. That should give you more relevant feedback. You can't really go wrong with any of these companies, you just have to find what you like. A lot of people on this forum like Rome and the GNU/Lib Tech boards are becomming very popular because of Magnetraction tech. But all make great stuff. Take your time to do your research and have fun! |
