Been riding a 08' NS Premier 163, and after reading through quite a few of these threads it seems maybe an upgrade is due. Getting a little toe drag on this setup. Not terrible, but noticeable on occasion.
180-190 lbs Size 12 foot No park (getting too old), mostly fast carving and powder. 20 years riding. Was curious as to what smarter people than myself thought. A) New Premier 161-163, no smaller due to boot size. B) New Raptor X wide 161. Rode a wide lib tech(not sure which model) maybe 10 years ago. It was terrible, edge to edge was painfully slow. Thanks..... Last edited by JimmyJim; 07-25-2012 at 07:37 PM. |

Depends on whether you want a damp board or a more lively one?
Having test ridden both, i would go for the Raptor, stupidly fast and the carbonium topsheet makes it lighter and more lively than the F1. Also found the Raptor a bit better floating in powder. Both boards are excellent at charging and big carves. |
