All right, it's the garbage collector here.
So I spotted this ancient Sims board & from the only pic it looks pretty mint.

I'm thinkin' it's maybe 1985-1989?

Anyone owned one of these back in the day?

I got some more pics on the way, but for $40 bucks I think it's a pretty good deal on a classic 30 year old deck.

What do you think?

If whatever doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger.

Then I am so close to immortality

The highbacks are really what were important on that thing.

I am thinking that thing is from 90/91 or right after. The graphic pattern used below the rear binder to describe board didn't swith to that box style until 89/90. Plus that ATV logo is definately something that they would have used in the 90s. At that price you should definately swoop that thing up for some wall art.

^ Didn't by 90 Sims have the 4 pack insert pattern though? I'm trying to remember what my brothers had and I thought it was a 4 pack.

My vote is for early 90's, they were still using the waffle bolt patter. Earlier than that and there would be the grab cutouts in the nose and tail/

I believe Sims made the switch to 4-hole in 93/94, that was the year most companies made the switch.

I haven't had the $$$ to go pick it up, but on the plus side it is now down to $30.

Hopefully selling my truck today or in the next few days, then I can go grab it.
