sizing a NS Evo?

I'm 5'10", 170 pounds.

Are there any rules of thumb for sizing the Evo or similarly rockered boards? Or is it mostly just preference?

My idea is to use my Rome Agent 158 for more all-mountain/freestyle riding and use the Evo for park laps (everything from kickers and pipe to boxes and rails). I'm leaning more towards the 154 to get more play out of it - should I think about going even lower? I'm not saying that I would use the two boards EXCLUSIVELY for each type of riding listed above, just what I'm rolling around in my head.

Thanks.

I weigh 175 have a '54 Proto, getting a '54 Evo this year. I think your in the sweet spot. The '52 is less than an inch shorter and you could probably get away with it for park only riding, but the '54 really is probably perfect for you.

Groovy, thanks for the input.

Second thought...it's probably too late to pick up a 2011-2012 Evo right? Can't seem to find it anywhere (just to save a little dough, plus I dig the graphics more than the current model's)...
