Flex Help

Hey guys, Iím looking into buying a new board for the season and am looking for some help on which felx to look for. I currently have a Morrow Radium 151cm board as my first beginnerís board. My skills have improved since I bought it so Iím lloking at more advanced boards. Right now Iím interested in the Forum Destroyer Chillydog 152cm, with a Forum flex rating of 5, and the Forum Youngblood 152cm with a Forum flex rating of 4. I spend a good amount of time in the park but also like to freeriding down the mountain. I canít find anywhere what the flex rating for the Morrow Radium is, so I was wondering if anyone would know which flex would be best for me, the 5 on the Destroyer or the 4 of the Youngblood. Also, how flexy is the Morrow Radium compared to the other 2 boards? Any help or suggestions would be great, thanks.

I have now idea how flexy the morrow is, but my suggestion is that you should go with something stiffer if you want to improve your riding. Keep in mind the stiffer the board the better edge hold and speed you can achieve, but with less flex comes less playfullness.

The difference between 4 and 5 is minuscule. Flex depends more on your weight than anything else. Without your height and weight I can't tell you much else.

Flex ratings are different between brands. A 4 from one brand may feel stiffer than another brand. There's nothing universal about them unless you read reviews from sites that text multiple brands.
If forum claims it's a 4 tho it will be a softer board.

For your size those boards should be about right. I like the destroyer better than the young blood though because its a more diverse board. I would also check out the arbor westmark and the signal park flat.
