Hi All,

Sorry if this has been covered or asked but has anybody had recent experience of Ride snowboards and how they fair up ?

Haven't had a Ride board for a while and my local shop has a very good offer on last years Machete model which seems to tick all my boxes.

Just wondering if they still hold up , board I used this year was a DC Ply which I liked but is now trashed.

By all accounts it is a pretty awesome board, so might go and have a look at the weekend.

Ride snowboards are some of the most durable out there. You'll be fine.

Well stopped by the shop on the way home from work and I am sold on the board . Just got to wait until payday and then I will go get it.

Definitely a sweet board, buddy of mine has one and loves it, pretty sure his is the wide version, and it might be a pre-2012 version, not sure.

Thanks for the heads up on the offer but as I live in the UK the shipping and everything else kind of out weighs the price but thanks for thinking of me.

Ride makes good stuff. The mechete always gets talked about as being a good board and everyone I've talked to that ownes one loves it. I've had 3 kinks (2 cambered 1 with the new profile) and love them for screwing around and medium speeds. Perfict for the small hills around me. It has a good flex (not too soft) and I think they are pretty stable for a jib board. The DH is a good cambered board with plenty of pop for jumping.
Ride just doesn't have that cult fallowing like some of these smaller (or core as people say) companies. They make good stuff and cheap stuff but that's because they are a larger brand and all your big brands do that.

this is my oldest sons 2nd ride board, DH2.4 and he loves it.
I maintain the family boards and the Rides have held up very good for us.
