First board....

I have the snow boarding bug, after spend a few weeks in NZ and some
time in Thredbo and loving it Im planning a few trips to Thredbo and
then Japan next February followed by NZ again next August.

Im looking at buying the gear after renting previously and need a
little assistance.

I like to ride All Mountain but I would like something to play with
every blue moon.
Ill mainly be in Australia and NZ, but am planning trips to Japan.

Im 70 Kg and 172 cm
I would rank myself as intermediate (more toward beginner side rather
than advanced side)

I understand that boots are the most important but I need to go into
the shop to see what fits and what is comfortable.

Am I missing anything?

Below is what I have come up with thus far

Board:

- Ride Machete 2013 155 (hard to find a lot of places sold out)
- Rome Agent Rocker 2013 - 155
- Burton Custom

Binding : Rider EX

Boots: To be determined looking for fit

Unless you are set on a certain graphic, consider picking up last year's model of whichever board/bindings you decide to get - end up saving a tonne of money.

Also if you buy all your gear from one spot, try and take the time to put it all together or even strap yourself in. A little bit of extra time in the store to make sure everything fits will prevent grief on the hill.

Enjoy
