Grip tech
 

Hello guys,

I was curious of what other brands except LibTech, GNU, NS, Arbor, Rossignol and Burton got some kind of edge tech on their boards and how they compare to each other?

no problem. i ride a lib tech with magne traction and it grips really good on ice, but i'v never been on any other board with grip tech. so i cant really say its the best, but it works for me.

Would love if someone could share his experience with rome's quickrip.

magne-traction is probably the most grippy but ive heard its too grippy

It works. Does its job to keep you on edge. Magne makes it so you don't have to try.
Magne is too much.
GripTech is money.
YES is bogus.
Burton's works if the camber zones in the Flying V aren't too aggressive.
NS is great.
Salomon Equalizer works well.
Rossi is Magne, Jones is Magne, Gnu is Magne.
Flow uses a 5 radial that works great.

My thoughts exactly on the GripTech and Magne. GripTech is like just enough extra bite and perhaps most importantly it's right where you need it under your feet to get the best out of it. I think it's just ergonomically better and more natural than magne.

Niche and Smokin and probably a few other brands are also licensing Magne.

Salomon has a few decks that run three unblended sidecuts that are decent but I don't think really compare to Arbor/Mervin/NS.
