Burton Dominant - Snowboarding Forum

Not planning on spending too much money on it. Only about $100. What is your opinion on the board? Anybody actually ever use one?

What year? New? Used? Condition? What do you want it to do?

Its used but its in pretty good shape. Its a 2008 and its 156cm. Now Im about 6'1", and about 175 pounds. I have only boarded for one season but I want to get very serious. I have a little bit of cash to spend. But I had joined the forum last year and I was going to get the Flow Infinite popcam at the same lenght. But it is no longer available. So Im not sure what exactly to get, and the last time I went I wasl actually able to go down black diamonds with an ok performance. So if you could give me some advice as to what bindings would be good as well I would greatly appreciate it!! XD

Well it's not a great board, I would look around craiglist more and see what you can find. $100 for a used 4 year old board really isn't great at all.

Did the Dominant use the same bevelled edge as the Con Dom? They looked close to the same by pics, but I never could compare the 2 in person. I bought a Con Dom and didn't like it. Couldn't hold an edge for shit since it had the raised edges. Def meant for rails. I'm with Nivek, look around for something better. If you are planning on sticking with it, I'd spend a little more and invest in something you can use.
