Hi I'm getting a new board this year and I have a sweet deal (40%off). I'm looking for something flexible for the park that would be good for jumps too (90% jibs and jumps small/medium.) I've been reading a lot this forum and the NS Evo seems to be best option but sadly I don't have that option in the store
. So I need you to help to pick between this options please.- Salomon Villain - k2 Parkstar - Flow Verve - burton super hero - park pickle - skate banana - ride machete. I'm 6'2 185 lbs. I ride most of the time in a small resort in the east coast where the conditions are usually icy with lots of gromed snow. I have 2010 Rome libertine boots size 10.5 . I have to get bindings too, I'm looking for union contact pro, 390 boss, m9, flux and believe or not nx2 se but that might be my last option. Finally last thing which board size u recommend? Thank you. |

Flow Verve or Salomon Villain. Machete is too stiff in the tips, the Banana is not worth the money since you can get others for the same discount, same goes for the pickle, The new SuperHero is untestet, and the Parkstar is good, but the other two are just better in my opinion.
For bindings I say M9's or Flux DMCC Lights/TT30's. If you go NX2, get the AT's. I have strong doubts the cap on the SE's will do its job properly without issues. For board size 55-57 ish.

Thanks Nivek, I was in between the verve and the superhero but since this last one is untested I will go with the flow. I puted the mervin boards on my list bc on the kind of snow that I ride (icy).
About the bindings Im thinking on flow just bc the rear entry, but I prefer performance instead of being comfy. My last doubt is about flexibility in the binding, so should I go for the more flexible option dmcc light or m9? Or the more stiff ones tt30 or nx2at? |
