Second board-Never Summer Evo question
Hello:)
Level:Close to Intermediate Weight:Average is 76 Kilograms (167 pounds) Boot size:28cm (11 inches) My Left foot is 28.5 lol But I wear 28cm Riding: Everything? I like to do kickers and some park items (Not at park all the time) about 50 Percent. Oh and I like spinning Age:20 (I think I stopped growing) Height:178cm (5.8? Feet) Location:Japan Budget:Enough for a NS Hello everyone! I am interested in buying the Never Summer Evo 154. I have 2 questions. 1. Considering my Height,Weight, and style, is 154 best for me? 2. I am also considering a Proto CT since I have heard it can Ollie, Jump better due to the extra stiffness. But I have heard softer flex is noob friendly and easier to butter. If the Evo wont have serious issues in ollies and kickers Ill definitely go with the Evo. Any advices? My first board was a used directional. It had okay flex but I couldn't butter freely with it. Now I want a true twin board that is versatile, while handling kickers. I wanted the Evo board since last season. I have researched it thoroughly, seen other threads. I just want some people to confirm that I made the right choice so I don't regret later. Thank you all, looking forward to your replies. |
Sounds good to me. Trying to wrangle up a '54 evo myself, weigh 175lbs. Sounds like u got your info straight already.

I have a 154 and am pushing 185 and I still reckon I would be just very slightly happier on the 152(151, I can't remember) personally I say size down one!

If your 5'8 then I would think about going a little shorter especially if you wanna progress with your spins in the park...I ride a 155 and im 6 foot about 140 lbs

I'm on a 154 @ 165lb 5'9 and for the most part it feels spot on. It started feeling a little short and/or soft when bombing the piste in lumpier conditions. But that is to be expected. Feels effortless to spin (as far as I can do them - fs 360 on small side hits so far).

Thank you for all your replies! I'm satisfied now, made my choice:thumbsup:

By the way, Would putting Rome 390 boss bindings L/XL with Salomon Dialogues 10.5 have any problems with a NS Evo 154? I have a feeling they would "hang" over the board a bit too much:confused:
