Is it the very best powder board ever made? Debatable. Is it a very very good...no, great pow board? Yup. I have a Gyrator that is very similar. Not every pow board needs to have 35mm of setback on a directional stick with taper and fish tail.

Love my Slack, but it isn't my fav pow board (Salomon Sick Stick FTW). I turned mine into my splitboard. $150 is a steal, same for the bindings.

K, ones a 2008 & the other 2011. Are the newer ones that much different?

Newer is better with the Sick Sticks. I have a 2011 163. $200 isn't a bad deal, but make sure it doesn't have any hairline cracks in the top sheet around the inserts. The bamboo has a tendency to break down a bit from what I hear.

I can't really afford either off them really, I thought maybe the $100 one but, food takes this round.

I think I'm pretty nicely set up for this year, bought a skate banana about 2 months ago. I believe it's the first year model, the base is pretty scratched up, no core shots though luckily.
I went to Sportchek yesterday, but they don't have the base grinder setup yet.

I was/am a little concerned about letting Sportchek sharpen the edges. Will they be technically able to do it properly? They sell Rossi boards with Magna there, so they should

@ 156 it should be a perfect compliment to the 164 Slackcountry I hope.



Then I'll keep one of the other ones for a rock board, I don't think I need more than 3.
Though in the past I've had a whole entire spare setup, from head to toe.
You never know when you might need it. I've lent it out a couple times just because I wanted to go & it's kinda a package deal.

I also leave my regular setup @ my buddies house sometimes, out of inconvenience, if we're going partying.

But ya, I got to sell some shit!
